Your First Visit

What to Expect – During your first visit, you will receive a physical therapy evaluation and treatment for your particular musculoskeletal or neurological problem. You may want to bring or dress in comfortable loose-fitting clothing. We recommend comfortable footwear and/or gym clothes to participate in exercise/stretching/strengthening instruction or programs. Shorts are preferable for knee/ankle/foot problems and and tank-tops or sleeveless shirts are preferable for neck/shoulder/upper body problems. Your first visit will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

You can reduce the overall time required on your first visit by downloading and completing your initial visit forms here. Print them out, sign the forms and bring them with you on your first visit. If your doctor gave you a physical therapy prescription/physical therapy referral, please remember to bring your doctor’s physical therapy prescription/referral and your insurance card.
